Introduction
Our platform allows you to add customized questions and incorporate them into your assessments. This guide walks you through the process of managing custom questions, which include various types like coding challenges, multiple-choice questions, open-ended AI-graded questions, and recorded answers.
Getting Started
To begin, navigate to the Private Questions tab and click on the Add Question button. This action will take you to the question creation page.
Adding Multiple-Choice Questions
1. Select Question Type:
- Choose Multiple-choice from the question type options.
2. Fill in the Details:
- Choose Topic: Select the topic name where the question will be stored.
- Difficulty: Set the difficulty level of the question.
- Content: Enter the text of the question or upload a file (Word or Excel) if applicable.
- Body: Write the main body of the question.
- Answers:
- Enter each answer choice.
- Mark the correct answer(s) by checking the box for "This answer is correct."
- Click the Add button after entering each answer.
3. Save Your Question:
- Once all details are filled in, press the Save button. The question will be added to your private questions pool.
Adding Open-Ended and Open-Ended AI-Graded Questions
1. Open-Ended Questions:
- Candidates are required to answer in free text.
2. AI-Graded Open-Ended Questions:
- Use AI to auto-grade the response and optionally add specific grading instructions for the AI.
Other Types of Questions
You can add other types of questions to suit different needs:
- File Upload: Allows candidates to upload a single file as their answer.
- Multi-File Upload: Allows candidates to upload multiple files.
- Recorded Answer: Candidates record their answers via video.
- Excel Questions: Formula-based questions where the platform analyzes the candidate's formula and assigns a score.
- Image Upload and Open Text (AI Scored): Candidates upload an image as a response, and AI analyzes it.
- Coding Editor: Candidates write their answers in a coding editor.
- Whiteboard: design-based questions where candidates build a solution visually for live coding assessments.

Reviewing Questions
You can view and edit your custom questions by:
- Using the Select Filter dropdown to choose the relevant topic.
- Clicking on the desired question for review or updates.
